Services for Ardrey L. Allen, 79, of 4111 Ingersoll Ave. who died Friday of a heart ailment at home, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Christian Church, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens.
A native of Ankeny, Mr. Allen Lived in Des Moines for 54 years.
A salesman for Central Life Insurance Co.,
he was graduated from Capital City Commercial College and was a member of the Adelphic Masonic Lodge and the First Christian church.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret; a daughter, Mrs. John Ewan of Peoria, ILL.; a son, Norman of Charlottesville, Va.; Five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the First Christian Church building fund.
