Eleanor J. Amadio of Forest City died Tuesday at the Forest City Nursing Center. She was the wife of Julius J. Amadio, who died in 1987. Born in Forest City, daughter of the late Cyril and Julia Galinski Golecki, she was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Forest City, and its Altar and Rosary Society. A graduate of Forest City High School, she was a member of American Legion Post 524 Ladies Auxiliary, Forest City. Eleanor and her husband managed the Red School House Restaurant, Pleasant Mount, for a number of years. Before retirement, she was employed in the maintenance department of Forest City Regional High School. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Joseph, Leo, Frank and Edward Golecki; and two sisters, Pearl Medved and Helen Staron. The funeral will be Friday with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, Delaware Street, Forest City. Interment, Sacred Heart Cemetery, Forest City. Friends may call Friday, 9 until Mass time, at church. Arrangements by the Jones & Brennan Funeral Home, 430 Main St., Forest City.
