Alene Caperton Angeletti was daughter of Andrew Jackson Caperton and Vera Starnes of Greenwood, Arkansas. She was the wife of Victor Angeletti. They married February 18, 1939 and established their home in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Three children were born from their marriage: Floyd James, Victor Dewain, and Barbara Gayle Angeletti. Alene was the daughter of Andrew Jackson and Vera Starnes Caperton. She is buried at Cross Cemetery in Sebastian County, Greenwood, Arkansas along with her husband and parents.

Alene Angeletti, 70, of Fort Smith died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 1990, in a Fort Smith hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Putman Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Cross Cemetery in Greenwood.
She is survived by her husband, Victor; her daughter, Barbara Bell of Fort Smith; two sons, Floyd of North Little Rock and Dewain of Denver; two sisters, Betty Sadler and Helen McCorkle, both of Greenwood; three brothers, Alfred Caperton of Tulsa, and Bob and Floyd Caperton, both of Fort Smith; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Robert Johnson, Robert Turner, Jeff Nicholson, Steve Caperton, Danny Elder, Mike Bare and Brian and Scott Bell.
