Audrey Bailey, 86, of Van Buren died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009, in Fort Smith. She was born Sept. 8, 1922, in Fort Smith and was a retired bookkeeper for Western Arkansas Employment Development Agency and a member of Northside United Pentecostal Church in Fort Smith where she taught Sunday School.

Funeral service will be today at 10 a.m. at Northside United Pentecostal Church in Fort Smith with burial at Steep Hill Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.

She is survived by two daughters, Annette Bell of Watauga, Texas, and Lela Nickell of Van Buren; four sons, James Fielding, Ben Bailey and Stephen Bailey, all of Van Buren, and Phillip Fielding of The Colony, Texas; one sister, Martha Puett of Desert Hot Springs, Calif.; one brother, Elmo Blythe of Dumas, Texas and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
