Youngest daughter of James Dilnot and Sarah Ann Dilnot (nee Makey), James was a carpenter.

Sarah Ann was baptised on the 19th July 1857, at St James Church, Staple, Kent.

She was living at Thanington, Kent when she died aged 17 years, she was buried on the 17th May 1874, at St Nicholas churchyard, Thanington, Kent. The Rev. N.H. Holman officiated her funeral.
