Mr. Collins was 61 years old and president of the Collins Bros Medicine Company, No. 505 North Second Street. He had long been a sufferer from angina pectoris but was able to be at his office Friday. Shortly after 1 o'clock, he was severely attacked by his old malady and died in his office a short time afterward.
Mr. Collins was born in Springfield Mass and came to St. Louis in 1863. His wife and son, W.H. Collins, Jr. survive him.
