Hazel Baptista was born on August 22, 1920, in Kerman.
She passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 18, 2013, with her loving family by her side.
Hazel is preceded in death by her parents, Elias and Senhorinha; her brothers, Henry, Bill, Domingos and George Baptista; her sisters-in-law, Ruth & Arzella Baptista; and brothers-in-law, Lee Cardoso, Manuel Garcia, and Gail Highet.
Hazel is survived by her siblings, Joe Baptista, Greta Cardoso, Margaret Garcia, Harold Baptista and Marie Highet; her sisters-in-law, Betty, Evelyn, Louise and Geneva Baptista; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Stephens & Bean on Thursday, May 23, 2013, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. Recitation of the Holy Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church on Friday, May 24, 2013, at 11:00 am. Interment to follow mass at Belmont Memorial Park.
