Marjorie Frances (Coolidge) Clark, age 83, of Exeter, New Hampshire, formerly of Amesbury and Nobleboro Maine, died peacefully at her home in Exeter on Saturday morning, November 27, 2010. Born in Hudson, Massachusetts, February 26, 1927, daughter of the late Rufus Holder and Laura Amelia (Hall) Coolidge, she was a graduate of Hudson High School and Whittier Vocational Technical School. She worked as a Nurse's Aide at the former Amesbury Hospital. In 1975, she received her Nursing Degree from Whittier Vocational Technical School, and began working at various nursing homes in the area as a licensed practical nurse. She also worked at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta, Maine, after moving to Nobleboro Maine with her husband Frank in 1985. Marjorie was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Amesbury. Predeceased by her husband Frank Lewis Clark in 2007, she is survived by her eight children, Douglas E. Clark and wife Sue of Bristol, ME; Richard A. Clark and wife Susan of Amesbury and Madison, NH; Kenneth E. Clark and fiancee Suzanne Rackett of Seabrook, NH; Brian S. Clark of Rochester, NH; David L. Clark and wife Karen of Amesbury; Holly A. Brackett and husband Al of Kingston NH; Laurie B. Clark of Merrimac and Heidi L. McIntyre and husband Michael of Exeter, NH; eleven grandchildren, Jamie A. Clark and wife Sandra; Tara L. Baillargeon and husband Bob, Matthew W, Nathaniel O, Jason T, Lauren B, Sarah A. and Emily R. Clark; Torey R. Moughan, Zachary J. Brickett, and Jennifer N. Dover and one great-grandson, Kyle A. Clark. Visitation at the Highland Chapel of Paul C. Rogers & Sons Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, will be Friday, December 3, 2010 from 3 to 5 p.m, immediately followed by memorial services at the funeral home at 5:30 P.M. Interment will be private for the family.
