Willard, the son of William & Polly {Rice} Arnold, married his first wife, Elmira Johnson, on 6 April 1817 in Southborough, Worcester County, Mass. He married second wife, Mary Maynard, on 19 April 1838. There appear to be no children from either marriage. Willard died aged 82 years, which was a relatively long life at the time.
