My Mom. Born in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Attended St. Alyosius school. Met my dad Richard Hogan when she was a teenager working at the same phone company. They married at St. Bridgets in Jersey City in Aug. 1952 after he returned from Korea.. Beloved mother to Maureen born 1953, Richard Joseph born 1956 (died 1956) Richard John born 1957 (died 1957) Colleen Rita born 1960, Doreen born 1965. My parents raised us in a very loving home. They never fought in front of us, never cursed and were happily married for almost 50 years. They made every holiday and birthday special. I miss those times. She was a stay home mom till 1972. She then worked as an executive secretary until her retirement. She loved summers on Long Beach Island when we were growing up. She had several close friends who she loved doing things with in her spare time. She was happily married for 49 years and had lived in Kearny, Sayreville, and Manchester. She is entombed with her husband who passed away suddenly Christmas day 2008 and around the corner from her son in law, William Russell Hoover who was killed in 2002. Thank you to all who leave flowers. Please also visit my husband William Hoover's memorial b.1953 d.2002 in New Jersey. A SPECIAL THANKS TO DYLAN AND CIANA FOR SPONSORING MY FAMILlES MEMORIALS.
