Wayne Bartlett, 47, of 718 Thirty-second st. NE, World War II Army veteran and lifelong resident of Cedar Rapids and Marion, died Saturday morning following a sudden illness. An employee of the Cedar Rapids school board the last 6 years, he was assistant engineer at Wilson junior high school. Born Sept. 1, 1913, in Marion, he was married to Evelyn cherry July 25, 1942, in Missouri. Surviving are his wife and a daughter, Sherry Elaine. Mr. Bartlett was affiliated with Kenwood Presbyterian church.
Services: Beatty - Buerle's at a time to be announced. Friends may call at the chapel after 6 p.m. Sunday.
