Orin W. Anderson

Orin W. Anderson of Rt. 2, River Falls, passed away Feb 15, 1968 at St. John's Hospital in St. Paul, as the result of a car accident. He was born May 1, 1903 in Pleasant Valley, son of Martin and Nettie Anderson. He spent most of his life farming in this area.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy, and four children: Kenneth of Chicago; Mrs. Mike Geurkink (Wilma) of Baldwin; Mrs. Robert Miller (Audrey) of Roberts and Shirley of Hudson; eight grandchildren; four brothers, Reuben, Lucas, Leon and Ervin, all of rural Hammond; two sisters, Hilda of rural Hammond and Mrs. Lydia Veenendall of River Falls. He is also survived by three nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son; three sisters and three brothers and one nephew.

Visitation was held on Sunday afternoon and evening with funeral services at the Cashman-Segerstrom Mortuary on Monday, Feb. 19 at 1:30 p.m., the Reverend Richard Ulvilden officiating, with interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, New Centerville, Wis.

The active pallbearers were Douglas Dunn, Clifford and Harlan Ramberg, Howard Bakke, Clyde Jacobson and Clarence Johnson.
