DR. ROBERT AUSTIN ANTHONY, 59, of 135 West Chickasaw Parkway, ophthalmologist, died at 7:45 p.m. Sunday at Baptist Hospital. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Memorial Park. Dr. Anthony was a graduate of the University of Tennessee, and University of Pennsylvania and Wills Eye Clinic in Philadelphia. He was a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmologists and Memphis Country Club. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Anne Chalkley Anthony; three daughters, Miss Anne Austin Anthony, Miss Susan Ashley Anthony and Miss Allison Lee Anthony, and three sons, Robert Austin Anthony, Robert O. Phillips and William L. Phillips, all of Memphis; his mother, Mrs. E.T. Anthony of Ripley, Tenn.; a sister, Mrs. Virginia Long of Memphis, and a brother, Eugene Anthony of Ripley. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the Dr. Robert Anthony Memorial for Dr. William West Research Lab, 910 Madison, Memphis.
