Mitchell was the son of Joseph, and Stella (Jez) Gregorski. Born in Enfield, CT. and graduating from Enfield High School, he received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from American International College. Mitch was proud to be a member of the National Guard. He worked for Bigelow-Sanford Carpet Company before beginning his teaching career. He was a marketing professor for 40 years at Springfield Technical Community College where he enjoyed helping students to learn, served on numerous committees, and received the Outstanding Faculty Member award in 2003. In his retirement, Mitch was honored to serve as Secretary of the Hampden County Deputy Sheriff Association. He was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Longmeadow, MA and an active member of the community, including serving as a coach and President of Longmeadow Babe Ruth Baseball League. Mitch loved vacationing on the Cape, doing many home improvement projects, and, most of all, spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis (Hapcook) Gregorski; son, Michael Gregorski and wife Heather; daughter, Jennifer Niece and husband Brian; and grandchildren, Kayla and Matthew Niece. He leaves his brothers, Robert Gregorski and wife Anita and Stephen Gregorski and wife Rosemary; sister, Joan Michaels; brother-in-law Charles Hapcook and wife Randi; sister-in-law Frances Barney; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Thomas Michael; brother, Richard; in-laws, Manser and Josephine Hapcook; and beloved dog, Chewie.
