Charles R. Ausmus, 57, of LaFollette died at his home Thursday, August 31.
He was a member of the Fincastle Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Eva Pierce Ausmus; his daughter, [Living], and son-in-law, [Living]; one brother, Robert Ausmus of LaFollette; sisters, Mrs. Jeanette Parrott, LaFollette, and Mrs. Pearl Kile and Mrs. Easter Ausmus, Knoxville, Mrs. Etta Sharp, Speedwell; one aunt, Mrs. Hallie Ausmus Wells, Germantown, Md.; one uncle, Author Ausmus, Speedwell; three nephews, Delano, J. C., and Jim; two nieces, Mildred and Jeanette.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Fincastle Methodist Church by the Rev. Darryl Ross. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Cross Funeral Home, LaFollette, was in charge of arrangements.
