AUSMUS, EVA PIERCE - age 89, of LaFollette, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 25, 1999. She was a member of Fincastle United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school for many years. She was a retired Campbell County school teacher. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ausmus. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, [Living]of LaFollette; granddaughters, [Living]of Jefferson City and [Living]of Knoxville; brother, Jake Pierce of LaFollette; sisters, Marie Pierce, Knoxville, Edna Heleen of Painesville, Ohio; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, with funeral service to follow at Cross Funeral Home, Dr. David Lord and Dr. David Vaughn presiding. Interment 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 30, at Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fincastle United Methodist Church. Arrangements by Cross Funeral Home.
