Services for Elwood G. Conklin, 75, of Mira Mesa, will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow under the auspices of Masonic Lodge 561 in El Camino Mortuary. Entombment will be in El Camino Memorial Park. He died Friday in his home.
Mr. Conklin, a native of Boone, Iowa, lived in the county 47 years and had been a metalsmith at the North Island Naval Air Station for 22 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 561, the Scottish Rites Temple and the Daylight Lodge No. 837.
Survivors include three daughters, Susan Jones of San Diego, Ruth Ann Griffin of Brookings, Ore., and Sally Mae Putnam of Tulsa, Okla.; three sons, Robert of Waterloo, Iowa, Norman of Los Angeles, and Donald of San Diego; and a brother Robert of Thousand Oaks.
