Mary, wife of the late Jose M. Archuleta (Mike), and beloved mother of ten children, passed away of natural causes. Born to the late Josie and Dewey Struck, Mary spent her childhood in New Mexico and graduated from Menaul High School in 1949. Upon Mike's return from the Korean War, the two wed on October 25, 1951. They moved to Thayer Junction, Wyoming where Mike started working for Union Pacific Railroad in 1953. Later, the family moved to Rock Springs, WY. In 1979, Mike was transferred to the Denver area, prompting their move to Brighton. She spent her days raising her children, crocheting, researching genealogy, and decorating cakes. After Mike's passing, she owned her own cake decorating shop and then worked at Cakes by Karen, where she retired in 2006. Upon her wishes, Mary was cremated and interred in Crown Hills Cemetery. The family held Memorial Service at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home, December 11.
