Stephen grew up in Wattenberg and Fort Lupton and attended Front Range Community College. He and Rebecca were married January 10, 1948 in Brighton. He had lived in Commerce City since 1996, working at George Mancini feed Lot, at Brighton Sugar Factory, and at Denver International Airport. A Rosary Service was held November 12 at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton, followed by Mass of Christian Burial on November 13 at St. Augustine Catholic Church.
