She was a daughter of Felipita (nee Gauna) and Luperto Morales.

On 20 February 1939 in Las Vegas, New Mexico, she married Jose Leon Abeyta.
He died on 16 October 1961,

and she later married Ramon Adame who passed away in 2012.

She loved her family and always loved having them around.

She was a mom and dad to 7 children, 2 of which were born in the house that she lived in since the day it was built.

She lived in Brighton most of her life.

She worked for Gates, AT&T and Vals Café as a cook from 1985 to 2005.

She loved fishing, camping, gardening, crocheting and always praying for her family. At age 79 she caught a 285 pound marlin and went parasailing while vacationing in Cabo San Lucas.

At age 93, she passed away at her home.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on 21 July 2015 at St.Augustine Catholic Church in Brighton.

She was also preceased by:
grandsons Michael Abeyta and Mark Garcia;
great-grandson Anthony Hernandez;
son-in-law David Rodriguez in 2009; and
3 brothers, Micel, Leo, Severo Morales.

Survivors included 3 daughters, 4 sons,
1 sister, 2 brothers, 18 grandchildren,
37 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren and 27 foster grandchildren.
