Kendall was born to Fred Adams and Barbara Ann "Bobby" Page, grew up in Idaho Falls, and graduated from Skyline High School. He also attended Idaho State University, where he earned a degree in land surveying. On Oct. 4, 1969, he married Madeline Hales in Idaho Falls. They raised their five children at their homes in Idaho Falls and Dubois, and later divorced. On Feb. 14, 1986, he married Wanda Newbold Jenkins in St. Anthony. They were sealed together for time and eternity in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on Dec. 1, 2007. Kendall and Wanda had lived in Fremont County since 1985. He worked as a land surveyor for Bureau of Reclamation and U. S. Forest Service, where he retired after 34 years. He also owned Adams Surveying. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in various positions, including secretary of the high priest group. He enjoyed being a temple worker. He enjoyed hunting, horse packing, camping and especially his 21 grandchildren. Other survivors included: children James Weston Adams (Robin), Rigby, Jennifer Ann Kidd (Robert), Vernal, UT, Steven L. Jenkins (Jennie), Idaho Falls, Keith Glenn Jenkins (Savannah), Lewiston, Jacob Adams (Arile), Plain City, UT, Kate Dionetia Rincon (Julio), Bountiful, UT, and Kendra Lee Nielson (Cody), St. Anthony; brothers Stevan Adams (Julie), Idaho Falls, Clayton Adams (Kris), Bellevue, Robert Adams (Carolee), Idaho Falls, Drew Adams (Shawna), Idaho Falls, and Vaughn Adams, Idaho Falls. Graveside services held August 17.
