Inez was born to Maxwell Founds and Bertha May Grigsby. When she was a toddler, her family moved to Shelley, where she grew up and graduated from Shelley High School. She married Ronald Perry Abbott on November 12, 1927, in Basalt. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. She was a homemaker all her life. As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in various capacities over the years and especially loved serving in the Young Women's Program. She enjoyed handwork, making quilts and afghans for family members, and loved sharing her homemade bread and candy with family and friends. Inez loved being around people and doted on her grandchildren. Survivors included grandchildren Paula, Douglas and Annette Weick, Pamela Campbell, and Dana, Chuck, Slade, and Derick Abbott; daughter Dawn (Henry) Weick of Boise; and 11 great grandchildren; preceded by grandchildren Diana Weick and Michael Abbott. Funeral Services held December 4th at Idaho Falls Mountain View Ward. Bishop Kerry Holmgren officiated. Arrangements by Wood Funeral Home.
