Died before 1880. Probably buried in one of the numerous unmarked graves in the Ford Cemetery, since last residence was in Montgomery Twp., Crawford Co., IL Birth date an estimation from censuses. She was the mother of at least 11 children.

[There are conflicting claims that they may have moved away from Crawford Co., IL.. They apparently sold their land in 1870. Some stories suggest they may have
"moved east". Or did they follow their son Philander down to Texas? If they did
move it seems unlikely to have occurred before their youngest daughter married in Jan.1876, since she was only 12 in 1870. Neither has been found, so far, in
the 1880 census.]
