ELVA DELIA KIDD BENNETT
VERNAL, Utah - Funeral services for Elva Delia Kidd Bennett were conducted Thursday, May 16, 2013, at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary in Vernal, Utah.
Burial took place in the Manila City Cemetery.
Mrs. Bennett died Sunday, May 12, 2013, at the Uintah Care Center in Vernal.
She was born July 11, 1919, to Thomas E. and Mary L. Kidd in Vernal. She was raised with nine of her 11 siblings in Vernal.
She married Dick Bennett on Sept. 24, 1938. She and her husband moved to Manila, Utah, where they raised their family. They had three children.
She worked at the Manila Post Office for 35 years, ironed clothes for people and owned a store in Manila and rental cabins at Sheep Creek Ranch.
Her interests included being a gardener, crafts, sewing and crocheting.
She is survived by her daughter, Joan Radosevich and husband Alex, son-in-law, Earl Kroupa; sisters, Mavis Powell, Doreen Norman and Joy Short; brother, Dee Kidd; eight grandchildren, Dale and wife Lisa Kroupa, Leanna and husband Steve Dernovich, Delbert and wife Heather Kroupa, Jay and wife Lynette Kroupa, Mike Radosevich, Natalie Radosevich, Roxanne and husband Terry Reid and Zane and wife Kristi Radosevich; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Dick Bennett; son, Clyde Bennett; daughter, Marion Kroupa; brothers, Maron, Russell, Maurice and Arnold; and sisters, Lula Twitchell, Loris Fae Fowler and Kay Allred.
