Alexej Kobelew was born in Belowo, Siberia. His family immigrated to Germany when he was about 2 years old, which is why he always considered Germany as his country.
After graduating from school, Alexej joined the German military and quickly showed great talent for the job he was doing. Based in Augustdorf, he gave sufficient evidence of his immense responsibility.
On June 2, the tank he was driving was hit in a bomb attack, and Corporal Alexej was sadly killed while two of his comrades were seriously injured.
The friends who remember Alexej describe him as an avid sportsman, and someone with a very gentle and generous heart.
Alexej was buried on the Evangelic-Lutheran Cemetery of Bielefeld Heepen.
He leaves behind to mourn his passing his parents, 4 siblings and his loving fiancé.
