Bonzi was a senior stray who ended up in a foster home of a volunteer from the West Jersey Animal Shelter in Pennsauken. Those good folks had named this little guy Thomas. He was found wandering in Southampton, Burlington County. We adopted this sweet little Shih Tzu on February 5, 2003. That year we had three professionals guess that his age was probably about 13 years old. Bonzi enjoyed his life with his brother, Beanie, and sister, Buttons. They respected and watched out for him after he went deaf and blind. Old age caught up with Bonzi with too many issues and his life ended with his dad, Paul, holding him in his arms.
