Todd James Brendel, age 22, of Orlando, Florida, formerly of Clearwatter, passed away Saturday, July 26, 1997, at Orlando Regional Medical Center as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Orlando. He went there in 1974 from his native Jacksonville, Florida. He graduated in 1993 from Countryside High School and moved to Orlando, where he was a student at University of Central Florida and a member of Professional Wakeboard Tour. Survivors include his mother, Carrie Brendel, Clearwater, Oklahoma; his father, Don of San Francisco, California; brother, Trent and sister, Tina Brendel, both of Clearwater; paternal grandparents, Eleanor Brendel of Mascoutah, Illinois, and maternal grandparents, Louise and Howard Frazier of Durant, Oklahoma.
