Joseph “Kane” Adair of Wagoner, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014 at the age of 22. He was born December 9, 1991 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He attended Muskogee schools until he and his family moved to Okay, Oklahoma. He graduated from Okay High School with the class of 2011 and went on to graduate with a Business Certification through Cherokee Nation. Kane worked as the manager at Sweet N Sassy Café where he was loved by his coworkers and customers.

Kane was closest to his sisters, Destrie, Kelsey, Haylee, and cousin, Megan, and too many close friends to mention. He loved to spend as much time with them as possible. He loved them dearly. Kane was especially proud of his new nephew, Jalen. He loved his two dogs, Janis Marie Joplin and Josie aka “Jo Jo”. Kane’s family was most important to him. He was well known for his culinary skills and his famous words, “Smile with your eyes baby.”

Kane will always be remembered as a Mama’s Boy, the world’s greatest brother, a loyal friend, and an old soul who enjoyed entertaining, blues and wine, listening to Janis Joplin, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, and Joss Stone. All who knew him loved him and we anxiously await the day we dance with him again.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Cody Tyler Adair; grandmother, Penny Lou Adair; grandparents, Tom and Katy Anderson.
