Kathleen Wells Allis, 92, of Lafayette, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014 with her family by her side. She was born April 28,1921. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, Sealy Wells Sr., and Nannie Mae Goodwin Wells; brother, Sealy Well, Jr. Kathleen loved the Lord and her family dearly. She was gentle, kind, loved everyone and always had a smile.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughter, Betty Dunn and her husband George;
grandchildren, Becky (Ronnie) Raines, Lee (Regina) Dunn; great-grandchildren, Jennifer (Jamie) Harris, Brian and Darren Dunn; great-great granddaughter, Addison Harris.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Good Samaritan Hospice at 2408 Electric Road, SQ, Roanoke, Va. 24018
The funeral will be Monday, April 28, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Lotz Salem Chapel with Pastors John Collins, Gary Alls and Ben Lockhart officiating. INTERMENT WILL BE PRIVATE. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 27, 2014 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Lotz Funeral Home Salem.
