Harlan Eugene Dix, 65, died Wednesday, December 24, 2003 at Providence Medical Center. He was born June 1, 1938 in Meriden, Kansas.
He was the son of Zella Louise Cunning Dix Hunter and his step-father was Lester Hunter. Harlan was a graduate of Perry Rural High School in Perry, Kansas.
Harlan was a resident of the Kansas City area for the past 45 years. He was a member of the Teamsters Local #41 for 35 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert Hunter. Harlan is survived by his wife of 44 years, Betty J. Dix of the home; brother, Jerry, of Kansas City, Kansas; plus, many other family and friends.
