Benton V. Covert was born December 24, 1915 in Lansing, Ingham, Michigan, the son of Earl and Hazel Kurtz Covert. He passed away at his home In Valparaiso, Indiana on March 26, 2006.
Benton attended the Chicago Art Institute and the American Academy of Art. He enjoyed a career in advertising and was art director at various chicago agencies, including the J. Walter Academy of Art.
He served his country proudly in the US Army during WWII. Benton was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Valparaiso.
Benton will be greatly missed by his loving family and many friends.
