He was employed at Borden Chemical Co., shipping Department. Visiting at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Religious services at St. Mark Catholic Church, Gonzales, at 11 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Herculan DeMaris. Burial in St. Theresa Cemetery, Gonzales. Survived by his wife, Lucille Poche Achord, Gonzales; three daughters, Mrs. Jeffrey (Roxie) Mayers, Mrs. Robert (Tammy) Cason and Terri Achord, all of Gonzales; a son, Harold "Bozo" Achord Jr., Gonzales; two sisters, Mrs. Michael (Betty) Logarbo, Gramercy, and Mrs. Victor (Delores) Rebaldo, New Orleans; a brother, Lawrence Guitreau, French Settlement; and a stepgrandson, B. J. Cason. Preceded in death by his parents, Ozie and Lucille Schexnayder Achord. Pallbearers will be Michael Logarbo, Edwin Berthelot, A. J. Lavigne, Gabe Poche, Donald Lambert and Ricky Melancon.
