J.M. Hall, another early pioneer to Creek Nation, Indian Territory (pre-statehood Oklahoma) wrote in his history of early Tulsa, entitled "The Beginning of Tulsa" (published 1933), that Robert Besser was the FIRST baby born in that new community. See webpage:
