Married 13 Nov 1864 to Ella Minerva Sweeney-Smith. Children Ancel Jay, Oliver H., Henry Ward, Laura C. and Maynard Rease Barrett. Cemetery records have him listed from memory as William Barrett buried next to his son, Oliver H. Barrett and daughter Laura Glass.
