Berneice "Bunny" Adams ATWOOD — Berneice "Bunny" Adams, 78, Atwood, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001, at Rawlins County Health Center, Atwood. Mrs. Adams was born Berneice R. "Bunny" Heble on Jan. 23, 1923, at rural Atwood.
She was a homemaker, a former member of Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church and Sacred Heart Church, Colby and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Atwood, Chrisitan Mothers Altar Society, Association for Retarded Citizens and Kansas Right to Life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert; and two sons, Greg and Tommy
Survivors include three sons, Mark of Colby Jim of Denver and Sam of Atwood; three daughters, Gayle James of Lenora, Margo Irwin of Denver and Jacqui Haffner of Tasco; two brothers, Clarence Heble of Trenton, Neb., and Tony Heble of rural Atwood; two sisters, Florence "Bea" Clark of Oacoma, S.D., and Mary Ann Sramek of Cheyenne Wells, Colo.; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Atwood, the Rev. Damian Richards officiating. Burial will be in Sts. Cyril and Methodius Cemetery, rural Atwood. Memorials may be made to the Mary Elizabeth Maternity Home, 204 W. Seventh, Hays 67601. Williams Funeral Home, 109 N. Second, Atwood 67730, is handling the arrangements.
