Mr. Binkowski was born June 28, 1921, in Philadelphia, Penn., a son of William Binkowski and Caroline Ellis Binkowski.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a retired truck driver for Cooper-Jarrett Trucking Company in Philadelphia.
He was a former member of the Teamster Local Union 107 in Philadelphia and was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church of Beaufort.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel Ernst Binkowski of Beaufort; a son, Mike Binkowski of Beaufort; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Valentine was the son of William and Caroline(nee Ellis)Binkowski of Philadelphia. He was a descendant of the Vaughn Shipbuilders of Kensington dating back to the 1700's
