Also spelled Elisheva in the Hebrew Bible was the wife of Aaron the ancestor of the Jewish high priests.

According to later Jewish tradition, she is buried in the Tomb of the Matriarchs in Tiberias.

She is a daughter of Amminadab, and a sister of Nahshon, from the Tribe of Judah (Exodus 6:23).

Exodus 6:23 "And Aaron took him Elisheba, the daughter of Amminadab, the sister of Nahshon, to wife; and she bare him Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar." ASV 1901
