MARION - Mr. Larry Heath Alford, 33, of Johnson Shortcut Road, passed away July 10, 2010, at Marion Medical Center.

Mr. Alford was born December 16, 1976, in Marion, S.C., a son of Diane Alford of Galivants Ferry and Larry Alford of Aynor. He was a loving husband, father, son, and brother. He enjoyed going to the river with his family, playing golf and spending time with family and friends.

Mr. Alford was predeceased by his grandparents, Leamon and Essie Alford; three uncles, Earl Alford, Tony Alford, and Johnny Alford; and one step-grandfather, Harmon Todd.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Tonya; one daughter, Laci; and one son, Josh; one brother, Erick Alford; two nephews, Hunter Alford of Galivants Ferry and Lake Alford of Conway; his grandparents, Ivey M. Calder, Jr. and Mary Calder, both of Conway; several aunts and uncles, Bobby and Linda Alford, Robert Alford, Ivey M. Calder, III and his wife, Jackie, Tammy Hardwick, Scott Calder and his wife, Amy, and several cousins.

He wll be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Wednesday July 14, 2010 at Aynor Church of God, with the Rev. Freddie Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Union Baptist Church Cemetery.
