Robert C. Allen, 73, of Wilson Borough died Sunday, July 1, 2012 in Manor Care, Palmer Township.
Born: October 5, 1938 in Upper Black Eddy, he was a son of the late Robert and Anna Pursel Allen.
Personal: He was a self-employed roofer in the Lehigh Valley. After retiring, he worked at Wal-Mart, Palmer Township. He was an avid bowler at BarDon and Warren Lanes and he served in the Navy.
Survivors: A son of Easton; three brothers and two sisters.

Robert C. Allen was the son of
Anna R. Pursell Allen (1907-1981)
who was the first cousin of my grandfather
John N. Lear Sr. (1904-1961)
which would have made us 4th cousins.
Though I did not know Robert personally, I honor his memory with this memorial because he was a distant relative of mine.
