Grandma Allen passed away on February 5, 1915 in the home of her daughter, Etta Townsley at Berwyn in Illinois after an illness of three weeks.
For years she has resided at Hartley since its founding and had been her constant home. Last fall she went to the home of her daughter in Illinois for the winter.
She will be laid beside her husband who passed away several years ago, and her daughter, Mrs. Oren Gowen, who was laid to rest only a few weeks ago.
