Born July 16, 1927 in Lithium, the son of George H. Adams and Mary Gertrude Valleroy Adams, who both preceded him in death.
He married Erika M. Hans on August 28, 1948 in Berlin, Germany. She preceded him in death on October 16, 2004.
He is survived by a daughter: Linda K. (Ron) Thieret of Perryville; a son: Karl (Donna) Adams of Perryville; a sister: Wanda Barb Kimsey of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and one grandson-in-law.
He was a World War II Air Force veteran.
He worked in maintenance at Perry County Memorial Hospital for 46 years.
He also sold Kirby Vacuums for 50 years in the area.
He was a life member of the V.F.W. Post No. 4282.
He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville and a 3rd Degree Knight of Columbus.
