Catherine Anne "CaCa' Caruthers, age 46, passed away Aug. 18, 2013 surrounded by her loving family.
Catherine was born Sept. 16, 1966 in San Antonio to Laura Elizabeth Montague and Abe Sol Caruthers II. She married Billy Jason Cooper on Dec. 15, 1990. On June 5, 1991 Catherine gave birth to the love of her life Taylor J. Cooper (Boo).
Throughout the years, Catherine brought love and life to all those around her. Her captivating spirit and infectious smile will be remembered forever.
Catherine is survived by her loving son Taylor J. Cooper; her maternal grandmother Virginia Montague; her mother Laura Elizabeth Priest and her husband Deg Priest; her brother Abe Sol Caruthers and wife Leah and children Alexandria, Victoria and Elaina; her sister Jenna Lee Brown Bronstad and her husband Troy and their children Sterling and Savannah; her stepbrother Deggary Priest, and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and many other in-laws and out-laws.
Catherine was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Frank Montague, Jr.; and her paternal grandparents Abe Sol and Louise (Cita) Caruthers.
Catherine will live in our hearts forever and will be dearly missed.
Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21 at St. Stanislaus Parish, 602 Seventh St., Bandera, Texas with Rev. George Montague officiating the services.
All arrangements are under the care of Wright Funeral Parlor in Kerrville.
