Dan Buck, 80 Buried Aug. 20

Daniel Luther Buck, 80, a native of Grapevine, died Aug. 18 in the Decatur Hospital.

A resident of Wise County since the age of 30, he lived in the Cottonwood Community before moving to Decatur where he was engaged in the furniture and mattress business.

He is survived by a son, Robert M. Buck of Hurst; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Vera Vabin of Beaumont.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Aug. 20 in Christian's chapel with Rev. G. C. Randolph officiating. Burial was in Pella Cemetery with J. W. Buck, J. D. Buck, Willard Buck, John McVean, Henry Cherry and Alton Brawner as pallbearers.
