CALLAHAN--Joseph G. Callahan of Bandera, Tex., passed away Thursday, Oct. 25, 1945, in a local hospital, in his 73rd year. Survived by daughters, Mrs. Lizzie Heisler of Pipe Creek, Mrs. Callie Kelly of Brownwood, Tex., Mrs. Margaret Schulze of Junction, Tex., Mrs. Leola Schulze of Fort Stockton, Tex.; sons, Calvin Callahan of Bandera, Tex., John Callahan of Pipe Creek, Tex., Charley and Aylor Callahan of San Antonio; sisters, Mrs. Margie Smith of Pearsall, Tex., Mrs. George Edwards of Pipe Creek, Mrs. Walter Fox of Lytle, Tex.; brothers, Andrew Callahan of Carrizo Springs, Tex., Oscar Callahan of Paint Rock, Tex.; 24 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. The body will lie in state in the chapel of the Alamo Funeral Home until 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, then taken overland to the Misison Gospel Church at Pipe Creek, Tex., where services will be held at 2 p.m. Revs. Dave Palmer and Ted Dorow will officiate. Arrangements by the Alamo Funeral Home.
