Mrs. Bennett was born in Madison County, Ill. and was the daughter of the late William Stanley and Lois Fentress Hale. She was of the Catholic faith.
Surviving are her husband, Tony Ray Bennett; three brothers, William Hale of Florida, Michael Hale of Timberlake, NC and Paul Hale of Atlanta, GA. and one sister, Barbara Delgado of California.
