Lawana had a wonderful talent in playing the piano. She played for their church for many, many years. And one thing that needs to be said, she never had any lessons. She could play by ear.
For many years Uncle Wilburn and Aunt Lawana would take my brother and me on vacations. We had so much fun. Aunt Lawana could be a real cut-up.
My pictures have not turned out so well. Lawana is the
one holding my cousin and me.
