WOODSFIELD — Thomas Edison "Eddie" Beardmore, 79, of Woodsfield, died Tuesday (June 19, 2001) at Monroe County Care Center, Woodsfield. He was born April 8, 1922, in Malaga, son of the late Stephen and Nora (McMullen) Beardmore. Mr. Beardmore was a retired farmer and carpenter. He was a member of Woodsfield Church of Christ, Woodsfield.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Denzil Beardmore and Leland Beardmore.
He leaves his wife, Nada Eileen (Saffell) Beardmore, whom he married Oct. 20, 1946; a daughter, Mrs. Herman "Eddie" (Marilyn) Martin of Woodsfield; two sons, Ronnie Lee (Kathy) Beardmore of Woodsfield, and Thomas Brent Beardmore
of Cambridge; two sisters, Dorothy Christman of Woodsfield and Marie Christman of Cambridge; five grandchildren, Teresa Rubel, Perry Martin, Jason Beardmore, Jeremy Beardmore and Justin Beardmore; a great-granddaughter, Regan Rubel.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield, where services will be 1 p.m. Friday with Sam Bartrug and Keith Jones officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield.
