Benny Earl Bennett, age 83, of Lewisville, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2014, in Plano. He was born September 1, 1930 in Grandview, Texas to Henry Lee Bennett and Beryl Ellen Grant Bennett. Benny married Dorothy Puyear on June 3, 1961 in Dallas. He served in the United States Army for two years. Benny is survived by his wife, Dorothy; son Earl Grant and brother, Alton. He was preceded in death by one son, Alford Dale.
