Mrs. Smith was born in Shaw, Mississippi and was reared in Sidon. She had lived in Louisville for the past 37 years.
Services were held from Wilson and Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood Wednesday, February 20 at 10:00 a.m. with Dr. Michael O’Brien officiating. Interment followed In Odd Fellows Cemetery in Greenwood with Wilson and Knight Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two brothers, W. Douglas Smith of Lexington and Fred C. Smith of Grenada; and three sisters, Mrs. Ruth “Betsy” Pitts of Marshall, Texas, Mrs. Mary G. Tennington of Marks and Mrs. Lucy Jean Mangum of Helena, Arkansas,
