Maria Del Socorro was born in Los Angeles on June 15, 1929 to Manuel and Estelle J Blanco. The family had moved to Ajo two months before Maria died on November 5, 1929. Maria was buried at the Ajo Cemetery. Her parents were born in Mexico and probably moved out of Ajo when the mine closed in 1932 if not earlier.
